Service Terms for Play Empowered
Client Service Agreement Summary
Introduction
These Service Terms apply to movement, dance, performance, and creative entertainment services offered by Empowered by Asali, LLC under the Play Empowered pillar.
Play Empowered services may include private and group dance instruction, performance coaching, choreography support, stage presence development, belly dance performances, fire performance, and curated entertainment experiences.
By purchasing, booking, or participating in any Play Empowered service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined below. Additional details may be provided through a signed performance or service agreement when applicable.
Payment and Refund Policy
Play Empowered services are professional creative and performance services and are subject to the following payment terms:
Full payment or a required deposit is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
All services are non-refundable and non-cancellable once scheduled or commenced.
Promotional pricing, package savings, or special rates may not be combined with other offers or applied retroactively.
For performance engagements, remaining balances may be due prior to or on the event date, as specified in the client agreement.
Scope of Services
Play Empowered services may include, but are not limited to:
Private and group belly dance lessons
Dance and performance coaching
Choreography development and refinement
Musicality, expression, and stage presence coaching
Belly dance performances and specialty entertainment acts
Fire dance performances and curated performance experiences
Services may be offered virtually or in person, depending on availability, location, and venue requirements.
Any additional time, bonus sessions, or expanded services are offered at the sole discretion of Empowered by Asali, LLC and are not guaranteed.
Scheduling and Availability
All private lessons, coaching sessions, and performance bookings are offered by appointment only.
Availability must be confirmed prior to submitting payment unless otherwise stated.
In-person services may be subject to location, travel considerations, venue approval, or limited capacity.
Virtual sessions are available where applicable.
Submitting payment without confirmed availability may require rescheduling.
Rescheduling Policy
Clients agree to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling requests.
Sessions or rehearsals canceled without sufficient notice may be forfeited.
Performance dates canceled within the notice window may be subject to forfeiture of deposits or fees as outlined in the client agreement.
Service Timeline, Holds, and Extensions
Services are intended to be completed within a reasonable timeframe following booking.
Packages and services may not be paused, transferred, or extended except in the case of a serious medical or family emergency, at the discretion of Empowered by Asali, LLC.
Any approved hold or extension must be requested in writing and may be time-limited.
Fire, Belly Dance, and Multi-Performer Entertainment Services
Play Empowered services may include solo or group belly dance performances, fire dance performances, and specialty entertainment acts offered through Shimmy Soul Chicago Fire & Bellydance Entertainment or curated by Empowered by Asali, LLC.
For certain engagements, additional performers may be contracted to participate in the event. These performers are independent artists and are not employees of Empowered by Asali, LLC.
Empowered by Asali, LLC may coordinate, curate, and manage performance talent for an event; however, performance style, casting, and final execution may vary based on performer availability, venue requirements, safety considerations, and local regulations.
Fire performance services are subject to venue approval, permitting, and safety requirements. Performer liability insurance is maintained by the performing artist(s). Empowered by Asali, LLC is not responsible for venue restrictions, permit requirements, or conditions imposed by event organizers or local authorities.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Providing accurate event details, timelines, and venue information
Ensuring venue approval and compliance with local regulations
Communicating changes promptly
Creating a safe and appropriate environment for performances and rehearsals
Physical Participation Disclaimer
Play Empowered services involve physical movement and performance. Clients and participants acknowledge that participation is voluntary and agree to work within personal limits, follow safety guidance, and disclose any injuries or health concerns prior to participation.
Empowered by Asali, LLC is not responsible for injuries resulting from participation when instructions are not followed or limitations are not disclosed.
No Guarantees
Creative expression, performance quality, and audience response are subjective experiences. While Play Empowered services are designed to support confidence, artistry, and professional presentation, no guarantees are made regarding performance outcomes, audience reactions, competition results, or external recognition.
Non-Transferability
All Play Empowered services are non-transferable and intended solely for the individual or entity that completed the booking or purchase.
Changes to Services
Empowered by Asali, LLC reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue Play Empowered services as needed. Any material changes will be communicated when applicable.
Legal Jurisdiction
These Service Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
Agreement to Terms
By booking, purchasing, or participating in Play Empowered services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Service Terms. Additional terms may apply through a signed performance or service agreement when required.
